Every Believer's Role Is Important To Christ (Mark 9:38-42)
September 15, 2013 Preacher: Eric Douma Series: Mark
Scripture: Mark 9:38–42
In Mark 9:38-42 we witness how the twelve disciples attempted to prevent a man from doing good works in the name of Christ. The disciples failed to understand that all believers in Christ are endowed with a secret dignity that is not perceived by the world now but will be clearly seen when Jesus returns to glorify His people. We learn from this section that all believers should be accepted into fellowship, and that they must be allowed to use the gifts that God has given them in service to the body of Christ.
