The Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-26)
April 6, 2014 Preacher: Bob DeWaay Series: Galatians
Scripture: Galatians 5:22–26
The fruit of the Spirit is contrasted to the works of the flesh. The Bible reveals God's kindness and patience through the gospel and the Spirit brings these forth in our lives. The issue of the crucifixion of the flesh is explained in its Biblical context. Christians ought to be those who show God's love and kindness and not angry people. Exodus 34:6 shows that God is slow to anger, and this attribute is also a fruit of the Spirit for believers.
