Interpreting the Olivet Discourse Part 1 (Mark 13)
August 3, 2014 Preacher: Eric Douma Series: Mark
Scripture: Mark 13:1–37
We focus in this message on how to properly understand Jesus' Olivet Discourse in Mark 13. This particular passage is notoriously difficult to interpret because Jesus seems to be teaching on the one hand that people will have certain signs prior to His arrival, but on the other hand He seems to teach that there are no signs to be observed prior to His arrival. In this message we begin to show how this tension is resolved. Come and hear for yourself the evidence from Scripture which confirms that we can understand the Olivet Discourse and that Jesus does not speak in contradictions!
