Christ Reconciles ''The All''
September 21, 2014 Preacher: Bob DeWaay Series: Colossians
Scripture: Colossians 1:19-20
The last two verses of the Christ Hymn describe fullness and reconciliation that are found in Christ. There are three key words in Colossians 1:19: well-pleased, fullness, and dwell. Christ is Lord over all. The reconciliation of the all means the salvation of believers and subjugation of unrepentant rebels. The Bible clearly teaches that believers are safe in Christ. God is both transcendent and immanent. We end will the gospel command to be reconciled to God (2Corinthians 5:20).
