God's Son Is Faithful in the Garden
February 1, 2015 Preacher: Eric Douma Series: Mark
Scripture: Mark 14:32-42
In Mark 14:32-42 we witness Jesus going to the garden of Gethsemane. Gethsemane means "oil press", and it is here that Jesus is under immense pressure to continue His path to the cross. In Gethsemane, Jesus overcomes the temptation to live as He accepts the "cup of wrath" as His lot in life. Because Christ is the faithful Son in the Garden, He can set us free from sin, death, and hell brought about by Adam in the garden of Eden so long ago. Come and hear about how Christ was faithful on our behalf.
