In Romans 4:1-8 Paul proves that salvation has always been by faith alone, and that it is accomplished by God’s righteousness being imputed to a sinner’s account. Paul proves these things by demonstrating that Abraham was justified by faith in Yahweh apart from any works that he had done. Paul also shows the shortcomings of his Jewish opponents who believed a person could earn salvation through works of the law. Come and hear from Abraham’s example why salvation is by faith and why no person can boast before God.
