In chapters 1-5 of Romans Paul focused on how believers in Christ are saved from the penalty of sin. Now, as we transition into Romans 6, Paul focuses on how believers in Christ are delivered from the power of sin through our union with Christ. We learn that being “in Christ” means that believers are “dead to sin” rather than being “dead in sin” which was our condition before conversion while we were “in Adam.” Come and hear the wonderful news about how our union with Christ changes everything!
