The Contrast Between Flesh and the Spirit (Romans 8:5-11)
Scripture: Romans 5:8-11
In Romans 8:5-11 we learn that there are only two kinds of people: those who are in the flesh, and those who are in the Spirit. Paul teaches that a person in the flesh will have a worldview consistent with unregenerate sinners, while those in the Spirit will have their minds set on the things of God. We also learn in this passage that every single believer in Jesus Christ has the Holy Spirit contrary to what those in the “second blessing” camp may claim. Listen and learn for yourself why every person needs to be regenerated by the Holy Spirit in order to belong to God.
