Living in the Light of His Imminent Return (Romans 13: 8-14)
Scripture: Romans 13:8-14
In this message taken from Romans 13:8-14 we examine how the imminent return of Christ should motivate every believer to godly living. Paul admonishes us in this section of Scripture to love others as ourselves in order to “fulfill” the law. Love fulfills the law precisely because the one who loves his neighbor will not perpetrate evil against his or her neighbor. We also learn that we must flee from immorality of all types in light of the imminent return of our Lord. Finally, we focus on the definition of “imminence” and explain the biblical data that clearly teaches this important doctrine. Come and hear for yourself how you should live in light of Christ’s imminent return.
