Soon after his conversion Saul began preaching Christ. This former enemy of Christ is now a powerful preacher. God’s work of the Holy Spirit in Saul is evidenced by the fact that he confessed Christ. We discuss many passages about Jesus being both the Son of God and Messiah. When Christ is preached we have to also have a sound doctrine of Christ and make sure people truly understand who He is. To call on the name of the Lord implies trusting in His eternal attributes that are part of His self-revelation.
