Canon of scripture is closed. What is canon? And how was the Canon of Scripture established? Canon has come to mean a standard of measure by with other things are to be judged.

The class covers the three-fold division of the Old Testament: the books of the Law, the Prophets and the Writings. The categories of Early Christian literature and early recognition and acceptance of the New Testament are discussed.

Scripture is fixed in number; divine in origin; and universal in authority. Also addressed in this class is the divine providence in the process of how Scripture is made available to us today.
