In this message we explain what the Old Testament and New Testament writers meant by referring to “the day of the Lord.” We examine how Isaiah prophesied about the future day of the Lord, and how both Jesus and Paul used the same language when teaching about the coming of Christ. We also have some good discussion as to why no one can claim that any given calamity experienced today such as an earthquake or tornado can definitively be called the wrath of God. Come and hear why we, as believers in Christ, must be content about warning people about the wrath to come in the future day of the Lord.
